Migrant domestic workers unsure of employment rights
Migrant workers employed as domestic staff are often unaware of their legal rights, while those employed by diplomats receive little protection from the law, a charity has said.
Camilla Brown, a community advocate for Kalayaan, a charity that specialises in helping abused migrant domestic workers, said that while conditions had vastly improved, many were still unaware of their rights.
