NHS bosses to get £130,000 to resign
Chief executives at NHS trusts set to be scrapped by the government have been offered a £130,000 golden goodbye if they resign voluntarily, it has been reported.
The mutually agreed resignation scheme (Mars), put forward by the government for NHS trust chief executives and senior managers, will be available until October. It represents the equivalent of a year’s pay with the first £30,000 tax free.
