Training failure is behind skills gap

I refer to your article in PM 2 September, “Skills shortage could hit future of UK engineering”.Believing in the ability of UK workers, and also understanding the need for a required skills level, I have to question the reasons for recruiting abroad. Surely it comes down to employer organisations failing to provide enough long-term development opportunities.
