A low priority for safety will cost lives
Research by the TUC showing that 20,000 people are dying as a result of workplace injuries and illnesses highlights that health and safety is still not a priority for many businesses. Our research at St John Ambulance has found that many businesses do not conduct risk assessments regularly and, more worryingly, that some have never performed one at all.
