Action for Blind People (Action) became part of the Royal National Institute of Blind People (RNIB) Group on 1 April 2009. While Action has not fully merged with RNIB and still retains its own brand, management team and board of trustees, it now delivers most of the front-line services for RNIB in England. By bringing together services we are better able to deliver the “Universal Standard” of services for people who are blind or partially sighted.
