Job satisfaction rises despite insecurity

Job satisfaction has shown a surprise increase across UK workplaces during the autumn, according to the CIPD’s quarterly Employee Outlook survey.

In the survey of 2,000 employees, job satisfaction – defined as the difference between the percentage satisfied and the percentage dissatisfied – rose to +42, up from a balance of +35 in the previous quarter.
