Large Irish firms say they will increase pay
Over 40 per cent of large employers in Ireland plan to increase pay next year while 36 per cent say they are planning rises for some staff, according to a new survey from reward consultants Mercer.Less than a quarter (22 per cent) of the multinationals and large Irish companies surveyed said they will freeze pay next year, while just 1 per cent said they intend to implement salary cuts.
