NHS launches simplified skills framework

The NHS has launched a simplified skills framework for staff in a bid to bolster training and support employee development through appraisals.

A “more flexible” Knowledge and Skills Framework (KSF) was published yesterday by the NHS Staff Council – which includes trade union representatives – to better link skills and appraisals to wider NHS objectives and high quality patient care.
