High global unemployment 'points to weak jobs recovery in 2011'

The International Labour Organization (ILO) has called on governments worldwide to prioritise job creation, as its latest trends report predicts a “weak jobs recovery” throughout 2011.

In its annual report Global Employment Trends 2011: The challenge of a jobs recovery, the ILO said that global unemployment has remained at record high levels for the third consecutive year.
