ICO sends warning on lax data protection
The circumstances of the Information Commissioner’s Office’s (ICO) first fines for data protection breaches are a reminder that an organisation’s compliance is only as good as its weakest link. The cases should prompt firms to look at their privacy training, and to remind staff of their obligations in this area.
