Nicky Ingham
The Royal Bolton Hospital became a foundation trust in October 2008, and serves around 263,000 people in the Bolton area. It is one of the busiest hospitals in the north-west for emergency admissions, delivered 4,637 babies in 2009/10 and has 628 inpatient beds. It employs around 3,600 staff, and had a turnover last year of approximately £193 million.
