Yorkshire Housing Ltd v Cuerden
The claimant in this case had a major depressive disorder, which constituted a disability under the Disability Discrimination Act 1995, and had been on sick leave for seven months. Her lawyer wrote to her employer suggesting they arrange a meeting, which he would attend, at which they could arrange a timetable and steps to be followed to manage his client’s return to work.
