Budget could be bad news for HR

With last week’s news dominated by events in Libya, which over-shadowed even chancellor George Osborne’s so-called ‘budget for growth’ and ‘budget for jobs’, now is perhaps the time to review the implications for the core role of HR professionals – namely, in building successful and high performance workplaces staffed by well-motivated, skilled and engaged employees.
