Budget will not diminish economic pain, CIPD warns
The budget contains sensible long-term measures but little immediate help for the economy, meaning the economic situation “could darken before things start to look better” according to the CIPD.The institute praised plans to introduce a flat rate pension of £140 a week and more investment for work experience, apprentices and 24 new university technical colleges.
