Do pay strategies ever deliver?

Jonathan Trevor is one of that very rare breed of academics who have direct experience of operational practice, having advised FTSE-100 and Fortune 500 companies in a major international consultancy. He has served very effectively on my CIPD reward vice-president’s panel over the past couple of years. At first viewing, Trevor's book can look and feel a little too much like an academic tome, which might deter the average practitioner from delving a little deeper. But stay with it, as it’s worth the journey.
