Dabson v David Cover & Sons Ltd
This case will serve as a comfort to employers and a reminder to tribunals not to interfere with marking in redundancy selections, unless there are exceptional circumstances, such as bias or demonstrable inaccuracy. The case concerned a transport manager, his assistant, and a depot manager to whom the transport manager reported. There was friction between the transport manager, Dabson, and the depot manager, Taylor.
