Recruitment: Wider appeal
The recruitment landscape will soon be populated by four generations of workers. Employers will need to attract talent from across the age span, from 1960s baby boomers, through Generations X and Y, to Generation Z, born in the 1990s. The last group has never known life without the internet and mostly has yet to enter the labour market, but the 16-24 age band accounts for around a quarter of the current 2.48 million unemployed people.
