Manufacturing sees thriving recruitment

Recruitment plans in the manufacturing sector have hit “almost record levels” but employers are worried that skills shortages could hamper growth, according to the latest survey from manufacturers’ organisation the EEF.The survey of 519 UK manufacturers, in partnership with accountants BDO, found that the number of companies intending to hire new staff has now continued to grow for six consecutive months.
