Well-being is the key to employee engagement
The recent launch of the Employee Engagement Taskforce by David Cameron has highlighted how the importance of employee engagement to business performance is being increasingly recognised. However, Ivan Robertson and Cary Cooper make the point in their new book, Well-being – Productivity and Happiness at Work, that approaches to engagement also need to take account of employees’ psychological well-being (PWB) if they are to underpin sustainable organisation performance.
