Acas sees rising demand for conciliation in disputes

Acas has reported a 15 per cent rise in demand for its conciliation services for large-scale industrial disputes in the past 12 months.In its annual report, the employment relations body said it had dealt with 1,054 collective disputes in 2010/11 up from 905 in 2009/10.
