Creating strategic HR impact: it’s how, not what
The encouraging picture that emerged from the research was that HR is playing a strategic role in formulating business strategy and a people strategy that supports it. However, the less positive news was that where the function continues to face challenges is in execution. Results drive credibility with either increased or reduced influence as a result. There were some notable exceptions to this – but all those who participated felt they could always do more to improve delivery of the people agenda.
