Green energy skills gap could stunt sector growth
Skill shortages could stall huge jobs growth in the UK’s wind and marine power industry if training delivery is not “ramped-up rapidly”, a report from two industry bodies has warned.Burgeoning green energy sectors such as wind, wave and tidal power are forecast to create up to 95,700 new jobs by 2021.
