Health workers urged to “blow the whistle” by MPs
MPs have urged NHS staff to blow the whistle on poor standards of care and abuse or risk being struck off. Reacting to a string of cases of poor care that have shocked the public, a Health Select Committee report said substandard doctors and nurses must be held to account and their peers must feel able to report concerns without fear of reprisals or disciplinary action.
