Sector skills council merger to ‘upgrade UK plc skills’
Two sector skills councils (SSC), People 1st and GoSkills, have merged to create a super body that aims to “upgrade UK Plc’s customer service and travel experience” ahead of London Olympics 2012.Leaders of the two organisations said the merger is expected to drive up quality in customer services by approaching skills gaps in a joined up way.
