Sheffield City Council v Norouzi
The question in this case was whether employers could be held liable for third-party racial harassment. Initially the case was heard prior to the Equality Act 2010, so the decision may seem somewhat academic now, as section 40 of the Act provides that employers are liable if they knowingly fail to protect their employees from repetitive harassment by third parties related to protected characteristics.
