BT worker wins unfair dismissal case over row with customer
A BT worker has been awarded more than £15,000 after an employment tribunal ruled he was unfairly dismissed following a disagreement with a customer.
Colin Shepherd, who worked as a business billing adviser for the telecoms giant in its Glasgow office, was sacked after an incident in September last year in which he dealt with a “frustrated customer” who been connected to the wrong department.
