Ex-Corus Teesside steel plant to take on 1,000 workers
The online recruitment process for 1,000 jobs at the former Corus steel plant in Teesside began this morning, with additional HR staff hired to cope with demand.New owner Sahaviriya Steel Industries (SSI) is expecting up to 10,000 applications for the vacancies, which include those for steelworkers, engineers, managers, office staff and IT specialists.
