Pension pots for directors ‘heighten inequality’
There is a “growing gap” between the pension payouts of top company directors and their wider workforce, according to a report released today.The average FTSE 100 director has accumulated a pension pot worth £3.6 million, and can expect an annual payment of £174,963 on retirement, found the study by the independent High Pay Commission.
