Public workers ‘would rather take pay cut than pension cut’
Nearly half of public-sector workers would rather take a pay cut than a pension cut, new research has claimed. Coming the week after a rise in personal pension contributions for public-sector employees was confirmed, 45 per cent said they would rather decrease their salary than lose part of their pension entitlement, according to a study by recruitment consultancy Badenoch & Clark.
