Why don't we recruit disabled candidates?

I agree with Andy Rickell’s views (Disabled job candidates are not second best) completely: both employers and the broader recruitment industry need to rise above traditional thinking when it comes to equality in employment. In research carried out by The Clear Company on behalf of the DWP Disability Steering Group, none of the 220 employers surveyed would turn to their recruitment consultants for a diverse shortlist of candidates. That’s a shocking 100 per cent!
