Cameron seeks advice on diluting agency workers directive
The prime minister is looking at ways to dilute the agency workers regulations (AWR) mere weeks before it is due to come into force, as reports reveal he sought legal advice on moderating the controversial laws. David Cameron is thought to be concerned that the new EU laws, which give temporary employees the same rights as permanent workers, could have a negative impact on the UK’s frail economy, the Telegraph reported.
