EU laws could hinder tribunal awards cap bill
A private member’s bill designed to stem the “relentlessly” rising levels of tribunal compensation had its second reading in Parliament today.
The tribunals (maximum compensation awards) bill 2010-11 proposes capping employment tribunal awards to £50,000.
