Overseas doctors ‘must have basic induction training’
The General Medical Council (GMC) is setting up basic induction training for doctors coming to work in the UK from abroad to ensure patient safety.The regulator announced its plans as it published a report - the State of Medical Education and Practice - which calls for greater support for overseas doctors working in the UK.
