NHS constitution change to protect whistleblowers
NHS staff who ‘blow the whistle’ on unacceptable care practises will be better protected from reprisals under changes to the NHS constitution set to come in next year.Constitutional changes announced by the government today, will contain a pledge that employers in the NHS should support staff by investigating their concerns about poor practise fully.
