More than half working parents “unhappy” with work flexibility
A majority of working parents (60 per cent) are not happy with their work-life balance and 54 per cent felt that asking to work flexibly would damage their career, a survey has revealed. Research by childcare benefits provider My Family Care carried out with more than 1,400 working parents also found evidence of colleague resentment, both real and imagined, that centred on flexible working.
