Pay restraint in West pushes top talent towards Asia
Employee reward in Asia has eclipsed pay in western Europe, undermining the West’s ability to attract and retain key people, research from consultants Mercer has revealed.
Pay in western economies has been restrained by poor economic growth and increased pay scrutiny following the financial crisis.
