Only a third of health staff opt for flu jab
Less than a third of frontline NHS staff have taken up free flu vaccinations, despite concerns that an outbreak among health workers could hit patient care.Initial flu jab take-up figures, published by the Department of Health (DH) yesterday, showed than in England only 29 per cent of the 804,597 healthcare workers with direct responsibility for patient care have been immunised so far.
