Culture at RBS led to bad decisions, says report
RBS failed because of a combination of “multiple poor decisions” by the bank’s leaders and a “flawed approach” from the Financial Services Association (FSA), a damning report has revealed.The report, from the FSA, said that the number of poor decisions by RBS management suggest it was “likely that there were underlying deficiencies in the organisation’s governance and culture”, which made it prone to such errors.
