Devon and Cornwall Police boosts take-up of diversity training
A restructured equality and diversity training programme at Devon and Cornwall Constabulary has resulted in soaring attendance rates, a showcase event for the winners of the CIPD Police Forum Awards heard yesterday.The force, which won the accolade for promoting equality and diversity, has seen training take-up among sergeants – the first of three staff groups to pass through the redesigned programme – rise from 6 per cent to 96 per cent.
