Leaders concealed ‘murky’ accounting at Olympus, says report
A “flawed and insufficient” corporate governance system at camera maker Olympus enabled leaders to hide huge financial losses for two decades, an internal investigation has found.Concerns about “murky” accounting were aired earlier this year by Michael Woodford, the former chief executive at the firm’s British arm, who was sacked in October.
