Strong demand for contract staff ‘despite AWR’

Demand for temporary staff has remained stable and is up on the same time last year despite the agency workers regulations (AWR) coming into force, according to the Recruitment and Employment Confederation (REC).A total of 83 per cent of employers were intending to grow or keep their temporary staff levels the same in the next 12 months, REC’s latest Report on Jobs found.
