Erosion of trust

Are the current and on going route changes between fleets at BA, many being removed from Euro Fleet to the New Fleet or Long Haul to be construed as another means of constructive dismissal or other means of disadvantaging staff, primarily aimed at staff members who may have gone on strike?

I saw recently my previous suggestion of a mutual work experience appreciation between staff did not get picked up on as one delightful individual from the flight deck turned up to meet with a crew having just spent over the equivelant of a cabin crew members monthly earnings on goodies for his wife which he then displayed to one and all.

It is this level of cras stupidity that will never repair the damage done between various staff areas. I would have expected more. This is particularly concerning as cabin crew for example exist for safety and that safety will be clearly compromised with the erosion of trust between the flight deck and the cabin. It is equally rather bemusing - perhaps that should be amusing - to watch how flight deck personnel defend their positions pending the integration of BMi crew into BA. I am equally dissappointed at the apparent lack of overt effort by HR professionals within BA to aid in resolving the problem.

As a professional pilot and CIPD member it leaves a rather sour taste in ones mouth and a notion of something, thoroughly un British!!
