Fears for UK Kodak staff ‘unfounded’
The UK division of ailing photography company Kodak will continue to operate “as usual” despite its application for bankruptcy protection in the US, the firm has said.Eastman Kodak and its US subsidiaries filed for voluntary Chapter 11 reorganisation in America this week, to allow the business to restructure without facing its creditors. The firm has also arranged a £615 million loan from Citigroup so it can continue trading.
