How can I take the next step?
I came to HR from a marketing background, having earned an MBA in marketing 10 years ago in the US. After moving to the UK, I found work in an administrative/support role in a shared service function, where I have gained five years’ HR experience. I’ve now completed my CIPD qualification and would like to progress in my HR career. How can I use my background in taking the next “big step”? I feel my advanced qualifications should be attractive to employers, but are not matched by the work experience on my CV, which is currently limited to administrative and operations experience.
