Police ‘allowed to quit’ to avoid disciplinary hearings
More than 130 Metropolitan Police officers accused of misconduct have been allowed to resign rather than face a disciplinary panel in the past year, according to reports.The information obtained by the Press Association also showed that 43 officers had been sacked in the same period.
