Well-being programme at Carlsberg ‘focuses on the healthy’
Encouraging staff to make even small improvements to their basic health can help increase engagement in the workplace, the CIPD’s Well-being for High Performance conference heard this morning.Julian Daley, reward manager for Carlsberg UK, explained that there had been no pressing business need to introduce a well-being programme as sickness absence levels were low and consistent, and engagement scores more favourable than the UK average.
