Former Olympus CEO starts unfair dismissal case
The former British chief executive of Olympus today began his legal case for unfair dismissal after blowing the whistle on a £1 billion fraud at the Japanese firm.Michael Woodford was sacked by the board last October after raising concerns about “murky” accountancy practices and suspicious acquisition fees at the camera manufacturer.
