An inflatable igloo and a brochure that you put in the freezer to reveal more about QinetiQ shows that the defence technology and security firm and its partner, aia, have lost none of their skill in developing innovative ways to attract science graduates. This was not simply some gimmick, said the judges. The ice-breaker campaign was an effective, high-quality piece of work that informed and engaged its target readership in a memorable way.



"This was the centre of a campaign aimed at high-quality science, engineering and technology graduates. QinetiQ transforms applications for defence into applications for the commercial sector. It’s this unique agility of innovation that makes QinetiQ such a rewarding place to work. So this year’s campaign used new materials and case studies to develop the theme of QinetiQ as ‘the real transformers’. Another key element was to incorporate the message that QinetiQ was sponsoring a team in the South Pole Race – we represented this through a case study and a game. Other features included video profiles and a matching tool."
