New CPD policy for your technical employees – are you up-to- date?

Policy aims to shift the ownership of learning and development in the workplace to the individual

A new CPD policy for engineering and technology personnel was issued by the Engineering Council earlier this year, which aims to shift the ownership of learning and development in the workplace towards the individual.

CPD is integral to the career success of professional engineers, from new graduates to experienced employees. Not only is it essential in expanding their technical knowledge, helping them to keep up with rapidly evolving technologies, it also allows them to achieve and maintain internationally recognised professional competences.

This not only benefits the engineers, but the employers as well, providing the business with a pool of highly motivated and highly skilled engineers.

Download the policy overview and keep up-to-date with any important developments affecting your company’s technical workforce.
