Invest in degree and higher apprenticeships to improve skills and performance:
- Attract and retain the best new talent
- Increase the skills of existing staff
- Target specific skills gaps
- Gain fresh perspective and up-to-date knowledge
- Improve productivity
There has never been a better time to employ apprentices. If you are a levy payer (with a wage bill of more than £3m a year), you can invest your payments to fund the training and assessment of apprentices.
If the costs are greater than the amount of levy paid, 90 per cent of the extra costs will be met by government co-funding. Non-levy payers will also have 90 per cent of the cost of training and assessing apprentices co-funded by the government.
Coventry University: The Nationwide Apprenticeship University works with you to design tailormade apprenticeships that meet your individual business needs. We can offer any of our existing higher and degree qualifications as apprenticeships, providing there is an approved apprenticeship standard for that subject. Qualifications range from Level 4 (foundation) to Level 7 (master’s).
Subjects include: management and leadership accounting, project management, digital and technology solutions, cyber security, engineering and manufacturing, construction, healthcare and law, with many more to come as standards are approved.
Our degree and higher apprenticeships can start at any time; they are not tied to university terms. Learning is by a blend of face-to-face, online, distance and self-directed study, and can be delivered at one of our campuses or in your workplace.
